123 DOM Runaway Baglietto

Runaway, the first boat of a new series called DOM, characterized by large volumes and spaces on board of a superior category, designed by Stefano Vafiadis for the Baglietto shipyard, was created to navigate with comfort and style and to enjoy the sea to the fullest through its very generous external and internal volumes.
The design of this boat reflects the wishes and needs of a modern and young owner: also thinking of new lifestyles and the new needs that are discovered on board today.
Thanks to the use of glass and a style inspired by Car Design, we certainly find elements of great modernity in this boat.
The layout, based on a dynamic and fresh lifestyle, revolves around the large salon on the Main Deck, completely surrounded by sliding windows, with a strong connection between inside and outside: thanks to the extensive use of glass and the cauldron without any change of level between outside and inside, on all decks.

Huge elegance

The main saloon is divided into two macro areas, one aft with a more intimate circular sofa, and one instead in the bow with two large Chais Longues to be able to watch television comfortably while lying down.
Continuing towards the bow, after having passed a long hallway, we find ourselves in the owner’s cabin, where, at the owner’s disposal, we find an enormous folding balcony that opens onto the sea with an overhang of over 2 m and with the possibility of placing two chairs with a breakfast table.
In the owner’s cabin we also find a large closet and a double bathroom for him and her with double shower.
The colors, both in the main saloon and in the owner’s cabin, are calm and relaxing and find inspiration, with brighter touches of colour, in the coral reef, creating a pleasant and nature-inspired environment at the same time.
Going up to the Upper Deck and looking out from the corridor where the main staircase and the lift lean, we enter a more intimate hall than the Main Deck, enriched by a large seat on one side, opposite the large Japanese Bar and with the comfortable possibility of enlarging the central table to accommodate the seat and being able to dine or lunch with maximum comfort, being present on this deck, in addition to the Galley strategically positioned on the Main, a comfortable pantry with refrigerators and Ice Makers.

Yacht details

The great advantage of this boat is that it can boast some “pluses” that we tend to find on boats that are at least 10 m larger, such as, for example, the lift that starts from the Lower Deck and goes up to the Fly Bridge, creating a strong connection between bridges.
The Lower Deck, on the other hand, is characterized by a conformation with four cabins, two twins and two doubles, plus a fifth jolly cabin, in a separate compartment, which the owner of Runaway has chosen to use as a Gym and a small Spa but which in other hulls it could simply remain as an additional VIP cabin, being considerably large and taking advantage of the full beam of 8.7 meters.
To understand the quality of the spaces on this boat, it is enough to analyze the square meters per room, where we find absolute primacy values in its category: such as, for example, the 70 m² Sun Deck or the lounge on the Main Deck which measures well over 60 m² .
Even the outdoor spaces have been designed with great care and with completely custom furnishings. Starting from the Lower Deck we have a pleasant Beach Club inside the hatch which, when it opens, becomes an enormous beach flush with the water, connected to a tender garage which opens externally through a side hatch from where a sporty tender of 6 m.
Continuing with an aft cockpit on the Main and above all on the Upper Deck where we find a generous circular Dining table that overlooks a large seat with cushions on a designer teak bench. It all culminates with the Fly Bridge where we find, among others, a large bar and completely custom swimming pool, the panoramic swimming pool measuring 3 meters wide by 2, a large side seat covered by a roof with a shading system that opens and closes electrically and aft deckchair for sunbathing and relaxing.
At the bow, on the other hand, we always find a large seat and sundeck as well as a door that is completely integrated into the design of the boat, near the anchorages, which opens to reveal the crew tender.
Among the most interesting elements we certainly find the spacious wheelhouse, finished with the same quality standards as the guest area: enriched with a modern integrated instrumentation that contains all the on-board instruments in a single large touch screen. The bold shape takes up the logo of the Baglietto shipyard and stands sculptural in this environment very dear to the owner, with a “gull-wing” shaped dashboard and with plays of light that recall science fiction and James Bond films , creating, in addition to a stimulating atmosphere for the crew and enthralling for the guests, a lighting developed to improve external visibility during night navigation.
